The space
The home is set back from the street and surrounded by towering oaks in a historic residential neighborhood. You enter a spacious open-concept living room with bar seating, a bright kitchen, and a dining area overlooking the backyard. Each room is furnished with art and vintage pieces that exude South Austin charm. The main bedroom includes a queen bed with Leesa’s Wirecutter-picked hybrid mattress and walk-in closet. The second bedroom is perfect for working or reading, with a desk, sofa bed, and small library of books. The house is serviced by fast Google fiber internet. The private, fenced backyard includes adirondack chairs, a firepit, string lights, and a canopy of trees for night time relaxation.

“This is probably my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I felt like I was living in some travel influencer’s blog. The space is aesthetically stunning, efficiently designed, and comfortably furnished. All of the finishing touches you’d hope for (soaps, coffee, etc) were present, high-quality, and eco-friendly. The bed is very comfortable. Air conditioning and hot water worked great. The bath is incredible!”

“I visit Austin for work once a month. That said, I have stayed in Airbnb’s and hotels all over the city of Austin. I would have to say this home has been my favorite so far. It was perfect for my needs, safe location, easily accessible to coffee and food places near by AND made getting to downtown super easy for me (since I didn’t have to fight the highway traffic). I have already planned another stay with Christina for my next visit to Austin!

“I loved how well the space was designed - clean, uncluttered and full of natural light. This airbnb is in a cool, walkable part of town with numerous coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Downtown is an easy drive south; the Domain is a short drive north. The neighborhood is a peaceful place to return to after a day of work or play and the hosts are kind and responsive. I will return next time work brings me to Austin!”
